- The dome head provides a low profile and neat, finished appearance
- Resemble tubular rivets when set but are hollow blind rivets pre-assembled onto a mandrel
- The mandrel head stays within the body of the rivet
- Provide strong but low-cost fastenings
- Suitable for fastening materials with similar mechanical and physical properties
- The steel mandrel provides greater tensile and shear values than aluminum rivets with aluminum mandrels
