Definitely provides more power, and I know this because I use the 2861-20 1/2” m18 at work with an xc5.0 and it’s a beast then when the 5.0 is charging I use the HOHD12.0 and it screams and hammers like the hulk! It gives these brushlesses a noticeable increase in “nut busting” torque. I recently purchased the 16” saw kit 2727-21HD and yeah wow non stop torque for fire wood making sessions, I’m always impressed with Milwaukee & BC Fasteners.
