This fan is amazing for its size. Bought it during the heat wave to keep in the bedroom as well as move around the house. I have the Milwaukee 18V fan which moves a lot of air but is more of a focused air flow. The Makita puts out a bit more volume but also has a wider air flow pattern which is great. A lot more quieter than the Milwaukee overall and especially on high speed. The timer and oscillating feature are a huge bonus. If your considering between this Makita or the Milwaukee 18v fan, hands down for Makita on every level. Even the ease of removing the cover to clean the dust off the fan blade is a great feature which the Milwaukee wasn’t designed for and if you do, you have to use a “special” long and very thin Torx bit. Highly recommend this fan. You won’t regret this purchase!
