    Someone stole my ‘water pump’ pliers so got these to see why they enjoy so many great reviews.
    Now I know. Smaller, lighter, easier to adjust, grip better, handle larger objects, etc.
    Unless you have an application specific reason to use the more traditional ‘water pump’ plier, these are quite simply a nicer plier to use.
