I have carried the Cobra XS in my back pocket for a few years now, and it has been a fantastic little plier and seen a lot of use (probably needs replacing now due to worn teeth), so I figured why not try the pliers wrench XS. I have carried it for half a month now, and the fit and finish is perfect on them, just as good as any other Knipex product, and they sure do grip tight for their size. However, because of how short the handles are I don’t think you can take full advantage of that gripping strength, and for the size of fastener you would use them on, the cheaper Cobra XS will do just as good a job. Plus as an EDC tool, the teeth are better for grabbing things other than nuts and bolts too. I don’t regret the purchase because I have a tool “collection”, and a collection is about wants, not needs, but if you’re buying this to turn small fasteners, maybe think twice. BCfasteners did ship this out super quick though, I will be ordering from them again!!
