Steve –
First, let me say that the TSTAK I Long Handle is one heavy duty storage box.
Its body is made of a thick plastic, which makes it able to stand being kicked around your job site.
There is an upper storage area where you can store small tools and parts. In the bottom storage area, I have it full of all the tools I need when I have to grab and go. These include a full set of screw drivers, a set of wrenches, wire strippers, tape measure, linesman pliers, side cutters, and the list goes on. Then there’s a whole set of small electronics tools as well. I placed small cardboard boxes inside this toolbox to separate my tools by groups, for easy identification and access.
I have a second one that contains two battery drills, a charger and spare battery. The top compartment has drill bits, and other fasteners . If needed, I could fit a third power tool in it as well, but I don’t like to pile my power tools on top of each other.
There are two handles on this toolbox, one to carry it like you would a lunch pail, and another one to carry it like a suitcase. Both are heavy duty as well.
The closing snaps are metal and shut solid. They do take a bit of force to open and close, which is what you want if you expect all the stuff inside to remain there.
I gave this product 4 stars as it is well deserving of every one of them. Why not 5 then? It has nothing to do with the product. To me, 5 stars is reserved as a reward for free merchandise, or by paid reviewers.
