Serrated Flange Nut Zinc – (NC) Coarse Thread:

  • Coarse thread nuts
  • Sizes from 1/4″ to 5/8″
  •  Enlarged circular base of flange nuts flares out from the bottom of the nut
  • Serrations on the bearing surface of the flange displace material on the mating surface to form a connection that resists loosening
  • More torque is required to loosen than to tighten the nut
  • The flange spans oversized or poorly aligned holes
  • The flange also provides a more uniform bearing-stress to clamp-force ratio than other low carbon lock nuts
