Brian Stauth –
Outstanding tool. I’ve used it on 3/16 rivets. Works flawlessly. Fast shipping from BC fasteners.
Dave Hughes –
I have used this tool for a couple of weeks now and it has worked awsome using 1/8″ stainless rivets. I have tried it using a 3/16″ stainless rivet, while it was able to snap it off, the tool didn’t sound very impressed by it. I need to spend more time to see if the tool is up to the task of putting in 3/16″ rivets all day and survive. This is not my only cordless rivet tool, but is a lot more affordable than my other one, so I am less scared to bring the Milwaukee to the jobsite. The retention nosepieces are REALLY nice. They use an o-ring. My only concern is that rivets with a ribbed mandrel may wear the o-ring prematurely, but time will tell. Also the nosepieces are interchangeable with my other rivet tool. This is nice as some of our rivets use a special proprietary nosepiece. It is a bit heavier than it looks, but not overly so. The handle is a bit big around, and someone with small hands may take a bit to get used to it, but it isn’t bad. Overall I like it, and enjoy using it. So far I recommend it, but time will tell. If you pop a lot of rivets, This is one tool you should have. I have also had good luck purchasing from BC tool and fasteners and will continue to do business with them in the future.
