I purchased this because I had a ridge around the edges of my concrete floor after grinding the main part of the floor with a heavy industrial concrete floor grinder. The ridge varied in thickness up to 1/2″. The planer worked really well and left a very smooth surface. I hooked up a vacuum to collect the dust because the large amount of planing required.
