Lawrence Glaister –
A very nice product. It does an awesome job of cutting light tubing and angle.(1″x1.5″x0.080″wall). There is a real sweet spot for cutting pressure. One doesn’t want the blade to rub and not cut or to dig in too hard and slow the rpm. Watch the shower of sparks and listen to the motor… you will find when its cutting well. I have tried 4×6 bandsaws, carbide tipped metal blades and now the abrasive cutoff saw. This cutoff saw seems to be winning in the cost of consumables department. For heavier sections, it is hard to beat a plasma torch. I would recommend this product. Check around for pricing… It is all over the place and if you can catch a sale, the pricing can be very enticing.
