Hex Jam Nut Stainless

Hex Jam Nut Stainless:

  • Only 2/3 the thickness of standard hex nuts
  • Coarse thread sizes: 1/4″-20 to 1″-8
  • Fine thread sizes: 5/16-24 to 1″-14
  • Are usually tightened against the work surface and a finished or heavy nut is tightened against the jam nut to keep it from loosening
  • Stainless steel provides excellent corrosion resistance in applications exposed to the elements
