This is a fantastic light for many uses. It is super bright and is great as a “flashlight” outside if you live in a country setting or a not well lit up area. The red night light actually throws a good light outside in the dark. As a work light in your shop, the light beam is exactly what it’s called “a spotlight”. It is great if you are working on any kind of equipment and want to see where you are wrenching. Not really an area light like the DCL050 which isn’t a spotlight. This is a much bigger and brighter version of the DCL040. I have all three and recommend all of them to anyone who even just wants some good lights when the power goes out. You’re going to need some light to find your generator and get it set up.

Great led light, only one white light setting, fairly narrow beam but bright
