1 review for DeWalt DCD460B FLEXVOLT 60V MAX VSR Stud and Joist Drill-Tool Only

  1. Tyson

I picked this drill up despite being in the M18 platform as well because it’s compact like a Fuel Hole Hawg, but more powerful than the Fuel Super Hawg. This drill is very solidly built, and has ridiculous power. It’s compact length make it easy to store in a ToughSystem box, and the bail handle is well placed to make carrying it balanced and simple. Some people would assume the narrower longer profile of the Super Hawg will be easier to get into tight spots but this drill won’t have a problem getting in anywhere the Hawg can, and will drill the hole faster to boot. The mechanical clutch and e-clutch both work extremely well. The only gripe I have with this tool is the gear selector switch is extremely stiff, hopefully that will loosen up over time.
