The Makita GA5020C 5″ Angle Grinder includes:
- Vibration-proof grip
- Tool-less wheel cover assembly
- 5″ depressed center grinding wheel
- Inner flange with lock nut
- Lock nut wrench

- SJS (Super Joint System) protects operator and tool by preventing kickback during wheel lockup
- Electronic current limiter stops motor burnout from overloading
- Soft start eliminates start up shock by increasing speed gradually
- Anti-restart prevents start up when switch is in lock-on position
- LED light comes on when power supply or anti-restart are active
- Multi-channel (labyrinth) design protects field and armature from dust and debris
- Zig-zag varnish on the armature and hardened powder on the field coils protect motor windings
- Gear housing rotates to 0/90/180/270 degrees
- Side handle mounts right or left
- Comfortable, vibration absorbing soft rubber grip

Great grinder, soft start is awesome, exactly what I wanted ! Thank you Makita for another great product !

Love the soft start function for safety, also the trigger lock for when grinding at awards angles, it really allows you to hold the grinder however is most comfortable. It seems to have plenty of power… I have had no issues cutting retaining stones and putting a chamferred edge on granite pavers. Anti-vibration handle is very comfortable too. Couldn’t ask for much more in a grinder except maybe dust extraction… now I’m just being greedy.
