Got this light this Christmas. So far I’m impressed. It is very bright and does shine a long way. I wish the spot was a bit bigger diameter but everyone has their opinion. I had the Makita DML807 light till now. Got driven over by a truck.
The 807 is a nice worklight in the shop, but the switch was shot in less than a year. I replaced it on warranty but if you had to buy it, the new switch is almost $70. Almost what the total light is. The 812 won’t take the place of the 807 as it isn’t as nice under machinery but I hope the switch lasts longer. The 812 is way better outside than the 807 was.

Cette torche est exactement ce que je recherchais. Je l’utilise à tous les jours et sa puissance est parfaite. La tête orientable est très utile pour les travaux de plomberie sous comptoir ou endroits difficiles d’accès. Sa tenue en main est idéale. Je la recommande.
Perfect on all points. Very usefull under the counter or any places where the access is difficult to reach to do plumbing works. Very satisfied. That is the LED lamp that I was waiting for a long time.
