Jeff –
It was fabulous.
But it stopped working 2 months after the warranty went out.
Now it is a paper weight.
🙁

A great time saver and accurate.
It needs a right angle adapter on the high pressure hose for some motorcycle tires. A pressure set function and shut off would be good for the high volume inflater.
I also bought units for my grown sons as gifts. The 20 volt batteries are convenient, yet costly – should come with an A/C adapter/transformer.
Correct tire pressure saves gas, tire wear and is a safety benefit!

Top notch tool, used to inflate my boat and tires on the car. Great product, would have loved that it came with the 110V wire to use in house without a Battery.

This is a great little unit and worth the money. After one year of success, the unit stopped inflating bike/auto tires. When taken apart the mechanical structure is in two parts. One side is for inflating tires etc. and connected with a common shaft to the fan side which is used for the inflation of air mattress, etc.
When the unit is operated for the purpose of air mattress inflation ( or similar inflatable toys ), the shared shaft also runs the compressor side. After a short time of inflating an aqua tub, the unit began making loud knocking noise. It was discovered the head of the compressor piston wore out the rubber valve assembly and was banging within the piston wall. I am unable to locate a diagram on the DeWalt website showing the internal parts so I am unable to explain any further. It does what the advertising says.

This is the absolute best cordless tire inflator around, bar none. I work as a mobile roadside technician and have inflated hundreds of different types and sizes of tires. It doesn’t overheat, and has never let me down. I purchased extra brand new batteries from kijiji. A 4ah battery should last well over a month for the average person. The chargers are also cheap on kijiji. So in total you spend about $250-300 on the last tire inflator you’ll every buy. I’ve had a few other cordless inflators including dewalts 2in1 booster and pump, and they all crapped out after a few weeks of use. A remarkable little product.

There is no automatic shutoff for high volume hose. Bitter dissappointment, but I’ll find uses for this tool.

Easy to use and works as described. If you already carry a 20V set of tools this is s must have tool to have in your garage. Simply turn the dial to set your desired air pressure hit the centre play button and pump tires effortlessly in less than a minute. I would recommend this product.

Works as described, and it’s so easy it’s like magic. Perfect for car tires. I bought the AC adapter separately, but only used with car so far — I didn’t buy batteries. It’s so easy I’ve brought it with me to check and properly inflate a number of friends and family members tires — help everyone be safe! Haha.

Exactly as described and reviewed. Works well with AC adaptor but I have not tried from car battery or 20V battery.
Pre-set and auto turnoff functions are invaluable. The screw-on valve attachment is precise and sturdy. It does not take long to top up car tire pressure.
The major benefit is the ability to maintain tire pressure (on run flat tires) from the comfort of an indoor garage rather than trying to wrangle a gas station unit in the cold and dark of winter when letting more air out than putting in while trying to read the gauge.

Very simple to use and robust. The air pressure setting gauge is particularly handy as you can set it to the specific psi and it’ll inflate to the setting and stop. You no longer have to inflate, check, deflate and reinflate to get that perfect pressure. It fills up tires pretty quickly too! The digital display is backlit for easy reading and there’s a bright light on the handle for use in the dark. I haven’t had a chance to try the blower function yet. The set comes with a 12V cord and can be used with a 120V adapter as well but is sold separately. Most useful is the ability to use your 20V power packs so you can freely move around without having to deal with a power cord. Highly recommended!
