I love this. The tripod doesn’t hog a huge radius due to the devices low center of gravity, which means you get get it into tighter spaces (and you might not even need to deploy the tripod in some cases). And the tripod lifts the device about an inch off the ground to protect it from water etc. For some reason, the manual recommends turning the light off before unplugging it, but this is not always convenient when performing electrical work, so it would be nice if the design did not require this recommendation (whatever the reason). I did have to tighten one of the extension rod clamps with a screwdriver because it was not holding in place, but not big deal. Accidentally looking at the LEDs will impair your vision with 12 tiny dots for a few minutes, I wish the LEDs were covered with a fogged plastic to help reduce this effect. Also, raising the LEDs out of their housing is a little awkward, I wish there was a handle to pull them by rather than having to push them up from under the housing. Overall though, great purchase, although I wish it were cheaper.
