  1. Glenn

I was quite apprehensive about the power this mower would have and the length of time it would run on the two batteries. I have been very happy with this mower. It doesn’t quite have the power of a gas mower but it is close to the smaller gas engine mowers. I have approximately 4000 sq. ft. of lawn, fairly well maintained. I can cut the entire lawn with 4.0 A-h batteries with some power remaining (< 20%). I pushed the mower to see how much lawn it would cut (with 5 A-h batteries) and found it handled about 5500 – 6000 sq. ft. I also tested for power output (low cut on fairly high (2”) dense grass. The mower stalled when trying to cut too much grass (but have found the same with my small Toro mower).

In my experience with a corded electric mower this mower has more power (1.44 kW which is about 2 HP).

Charger is very fast and I’ve found the run time of the batteries exceeds the re-charge time.

All in all I’m quite pleased with this mower’s performance. The cut is very good in my opinion and the bag holds a good quantity of grass (better than my old Toro). The 18” deck is similar in size to my old Toro and maneuverability is very good. Not a heavy mower.

Drawback: adjustment height limited to about 3” high… about 0.5-1” less than most mowers.

Wish list for this mower: aluminum deck!
