- Designed for supporting vertical runs of riser pipe between floors of a building
- Recommended for suspending non-insulated pipe lines
- Friction between the pipe and riser transfers the weight of the pipe through the riser to the building structure
- Risers use the structure to support the legs on each end of the clamp
- Risers are usually located at floor penetrations, particularly for continuous floor slabs such as concrete
- Made of zinc plated carbon steel
