love the saw .Retired my 25 year old Makita for this one . thought it had a laser.. it doesn’t . smooth soft start not too loud . Needs a big stand with wheels or a strong back …but they all do now

I would not buy this saw. The lock lever broke after a couple of days use. I exchanged it and the same thing happened again. When I took it to the service centre, they simply put in the same cheap part. Makita really goofed on this one and they haven’t taken the responsibility to make it right.

Hooked to a vacuum, dust collection on this saw is comparable to my Kapex.
