The Jet 570464 1″ JET-KUT GOLD M2 H.S.S. Prentice Drill Bit:
- Thin web allows fast feed rates – great for drilling hardened steels such as 304, 306 & 316 stainless steel
- Self-centering 118º split points for consistent hole sizes and accurate hole placement without a center punch
- Bronze oxide (gold) ground flute finish reduce friction for cooler cutting and longer service life with less operator pressure
- Thin nitro-carburized surface on the flutes provides extra wear resistance along the cutting edge of the point
- Special flute form enhances chip ejection while reducing drill retractions and improving coolant flow to the tip
- Made from high (M2) molybdenum steel for greater strength and rigidity, longer lasting cutting edges, improved hole tolerances for higher feed rates
- TORQUE DRIVE® with 3 ground flats eliminate chuck slippage
