Brushless Advantage

  • More power in a more compact package.
  • Less down time – no brushes to replace.
  • Less heat buildup, less friction and lower amp draw give you longer tool life and longer run time on a battery charge.

Hammer/Drill/Driver VS Drill/Driver

  • Choose the hammer option if you will be drilling in concrete.
  • The DHP series has the Hammer mode for drilling into concrete

Number of Speed Ranges (1, 2 or 3)

  • More ranges mean the tool can be used in a wider variety of applications.
  • Matching the speed range to the application uses less battery power and increases run time

Torque

  • Choose the torque rating that works best for your application.
  • The DHP481Z Hammer drill and DDF481Z Drill Driver have the highest torque ratings.

Drilling capacities

  • More power means you can drill larger holes.
  • In TEK mode the impact driver starts off at the highest speed and power setting.
  • When there is an increase in fastener resistance, the impactor automatically shifts down to a lower speed setting for final tightening.
  • TEK Mode prevents over tightening of fasteners and helps minimize thread stripping while increasing overall fastening speed.
  • Only available on the DTD154Z impact driver.
